Are you the Top Dog? Come find out at MTU's Top Dog Indoor Pistol Competition!
Safety briefing at 8:30 am, event runs 9:00 am - 2:00 pm, with awards to follow. Awards will be given for 1st through 3rd in Master, Expert, Sharpshooter and Marksman in three shooting categories - Semi-Auto, Open, and Revolver. A Top Dog award for top shooter will also be given for the best combined score in all 3 events. Door prizes and other giveaways will take place throughout the day. Open to ages 18 and up, No experience necessary.
Course of fire will be (mags loaded to a maximum of 6 rounds). 6 shots from 10 yd in 10 seconds standing. 12 shots at 15 yd line kneeling 30 seconds yes there is a reload here. 25 yd line will be 12 shots standing 30 seconds yes there is a reload here also. We will be using the Lewis class system to determine alignment of classes.
