Adult Huskies Tennis Lessons are for ages 17 and up who are looking to improve their tennis games; from beginner to intermediate. Classes include instruction on fundamentals, movement patterns, and tactics. Activities will range from technique-focused instruction, drills, and games designed to be active, fun, and improve your tennis game.
USTA NTRP System in place for the adult classes:
- Adult Beginner (NTRP 1.0 to 2.0)
- Adult Advanced Beginner (NTRP 1.5 to 2.5)
- Adult Intermediate (NTRP 3.0 to 3.5)
Bring a tennis racket if you have one. If not, Gates Tennis Center has demo rackets. Please wear athletic clothing and non-marking tennis shoes. Ideally, the shoes should be tennis-specific shoes that are designed for the stop, start, and lateral movement of tennis. Some “cross-trainers” are okay. Running shoes are not recommended, because they are not designed for lateral movement. Class size is limited.
