Fall 2025 Semester Schedule

  • Free to Michigan Tech students and SDC Members
  • Included in the purchase of an SDC Action Pass or SDC Day Pass
  • $20 General Public Admission (hockey only)
 

Requirements for Entry

General Public & SDC Access Holders

  • Weekdays

    • Non-Members of the SDC must go to the ticket office, pay general admission and receive a wristband.
    • SDC Members must go to the Ticket Office to verify status and receive a wristband.
    • All general public and SDC Members must show their wristband to the Skate Rental Center Attendant to get access to Locker Rooms. Locker Room #1 (males), #5 (females).
  • Sundays

    • Non-Members of the SDC must make payment using the QR code at the Skate Rental Center, show their receipt to the attendant, and receive a stamp to gain access.
    • SDC Members must verify their access with the Skate Rental Center Attendant and receive a stamp to gain access.
    • All general public and SDC Members must show their stamp to the Skate Rental Center Attendant to get access to Locker Rooms. Locker Room #1 (males), #5 (females).

Michigan Tech Student

  • Weekdays

    • Tap ID with Skate Rental Center Attendant to get access to Locker Rooms  (#1 males, #5 females).
  • Sundays

    • Tap ID with Skate Rental Center Attendant and receive a stamp to get access to Locker Rooms (#1 males, #5 females).

Equipment

Free Helmet Issue

  • Check a helmet out at the Skate Rental Center at no cost
  • First come, first serve (limited inventory)
  • Must be returned at the end of the session
 

Rules

Obey the rules or you could lose your skating privileges.

  • Full hockey equipment is required, including a helmet.
  • Check-in with the Skate Rental Attendant prior to entering the locker room. 
  • No cellphone use allowed in the locker room.
  • No sitting on boards.
  • No throwing objects on ice (ie snowballs).
  • No food or beverages allowed on the ice.
  • No abusive or profane language.
  • MTU is not responsible for personal belongings and lost or stolen items.
  • No tobacco (smoked or chew).

THESE RULES AND REGULATIONS HAVE BEEN DEVELOPED FOR YOUR SAFETY AND EQUAL ENJOYMENT OF THE FACILITY.
