Adult Huskies Swim Training

Adult Huskies Swim Training provides additional attention and competitive guidance to swimmers ages 18 and older who are looking to improve their swimming skills and fitness levels in a group setting. Each session is programmed with a warm-up and variations of a workout for the beginner, intermediate, and advanced swimmer. Participants will be provided coaching and guidance to meet their individual swimming goals over a six week training program.

Space will be provided for personal items on the pool deck. Goggles are highly recommended. Showering is required before entering the water. Class size is limited.

Location

SDC Pool

The Student Development Complex lap pool and dive tank are licensed by the State of Michigan and inspected by the Western U.P. District Health Department. Accordingly, the water is analyzed and the temperature is taken daily. The new heating system keeps the water consistently between 82-83 degrees.

Activity Level

Moderate to high.

Special Requirements

Appropriate swimwear (bathing suits, no cutoffs or street clothes) and a towel. Swim caps and goggles are recommended.
