Yoga Basics

Registration and payment can be completed online, by phone at 906-487-2073, or at the SDC Ticket Office. Participants must sign a waiver of liability prior to participation. The SDC is not responsible for lost or stolen property. Please do not leave valuables unattended.

Yoga Basics is designed for anyone seeking to begin a new yoga practice or looking to grow more comfortable with their home practice. We will break down individual poses and learn proper form in this class.

About the Instructor

Morgan Ottman
Morgan Ottman is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher's training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS). Morgan first turned to yoga to find spiritual balance in high school and continues to practice yoga to build strength and balance, both physically and mentally. As Morgan attends college, she’ll continue to use yoga as a stress reliever and a way to find balance in a hectic schedule. She looks forward to sharing the community she has built while teaching and attending yoga classes.
