Fitbarre

Tai Chi

Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese exercise that combines relaxed, fluid movement with a calm, alert mental state. It is low impact and puts minimal stress on muscles and joints, making it safe for all ages and fitness levels. There are different styles of Tai Chi. In Tai Chi Prime, you will learn Basic Moves and Short Form that are based on the Yang style. The program trains proper body alignment as you move and to move in a relaxed mindful manner that improves endurance, flexibility, strength, balance and coordination. Those new to Tai Chi will find this a relaxing form of exercise for both the mind and the body and can easily apply the basic moves to everyday activities. Tai Chi Advanced Fundamentals is for people who wish to build on their success with the Tai Chi Prime Class. Energizing qigong exercises and basic biomechanics remain as the core of the class, but a more challenging short form is introduced.
